Venez, ressort (come, spring)

You lived in France? In the countryside or the city? What was it like? I lived in Munich for a year in 2000 and I loved it. I did get to travel to the South of France--Nimes, Bordeaux, Montpellier on the way to see the prehistoric caves in the Dordogne region--and it was lovely. The people weren't as grouchy as they are portrayed, but then my boyfriend and I were young, only 20, and perhaps that had something to do with our reception. My favorite little city was Montpellier because they had gorgeous jardins that overlooked the whole city. We were there for Easter and I dragged my boyfriend to Easter mass, which was in French of course. A very interesting experience, especially for him since he was agnostic. Now I have more Buddhist leanings, but we would have been hardpressed I'd think to find a Buddhist temple in the South of France. Maybe I'd be surprised though.
