The artist of SPAIN is a Detroit artist named Janet Hamrick, who recently had a show that Ken went to and gloated to me about... I have one of her original postcards hanging in my bedroom--much like the original lady postcard that I made for you not so long ago... I posted part of my piece On the Teaching of Writing today and I'd love to read what you think since I've tidied it up--only when you get the chance though.

Dear Renée, I'm going to read it now and am highly anticipating it! This weekend has been bursting at the seams with tests, essays and quizzes to grade...
