Don't you love Blake? He has a spiritual quality and such a light touch. His painting recalls for me the work of my boyfriend's late wife Ann Mikolowski. It really takes a master, I think, to achieve such a light yet dramatic touch.
Now you have seen Blake's yin and yang--his lightness and his darkness--the joy-filled one reminds me of Matisse's The Dance, which you've probably seen--about 4 or 5 nudes dancing in a circle against a background of Prussian blue--so beautiful--ah!
Omg. I am currently reading Stephen King's Duma Key. You have no idea what this all means to me. Have you read the book. You may not even like him. Blake's drawing or in this book. The shackles and souls are all there.

Ha! Just by looking at the thumbnail I knew it was Blake - art history has not failed me yet!
I like this dream - it's graceful, soft - life is flowing from arm to arm, with no link broken.
Yet, there is something frightening, dark and lurking in the background - like all dreams.
